Nicolas Roeg’s The Man Who Fell to Earth was this week’s post-Thanksgiving treat, for those who found themselves in town, and not confined to family quarters. We saw a few old friends from back in the MovieNight day! TMWFtE did not disappoint, specially because we were able to find a rare copy of the Criterion release, which restored the missing 20 minutes, originally cut to assuage US audiences. I mean, what’s wrong with a bit of full frontal, anyway? Speaking of which… would anyone like us to screen Gaspar Noe’s Love? Also… is anyone even reading this? Ha.
